I'm a bit behind on blogging and there's so much I had been wanting to share! My graduate math class is getting in the way! I can't tell you how many hours I've spent doing math homework in the last 2 weeks. Blech. I guess it will be worth it? [hoping to eventually be able to teach at a local community college].
This post is to show you the most amazing artist I've ever met, Scott Hagan! He free hand paints barns all over the country (16 states to date) and is most famous for the "Ohio Bicentennial Barns" he did from 1998-2003. 88 barns, one in each county, and I've seen all of them!! We are his youngest "barn groupies" and Blaine's grandma arranged for a special gift for Blaine's birthday! Blaine's great uncle built the toy box, grandma painted it, and Scott put on the logo he's famous for painting across Ohio.

What a cool birthday gift for Blaine! ug. Graduate level math class sounds intensive...especially the focusing while trying to chase a one-year-old part:)
Very cool! And I think you going for your graduate degree in Math is pretty awesome too! I'm biased, though - that was my undergrad degree too. :)
oh lord no!! not going for any degree! LOL. i already have my masters but it is in education. i only need 7 grad credits in math to have enough for adjunct status!
Howdy! Visiting from Fresh from the Farm. Those barns are amazing! How cool that you guys get to have some of Scott's artwork on your little dude's toy box barn.
:)
Amazing artwork. That's quite a gift!
These are so cool!
