Do NOT NOT NOT call your 8 month plus pregnant wife from 3 times zones away, after you missed 2 straight weeks of baby classes thus making her be the only mom there husbandless, and inform her you will be in Texas on the week of her birthday / wedding anniversary. She will then remind you that you were out of state LAST year on your wedding anniversary.
Let's just say it is not news she would want to hear via the phone.

:-( I'm SO sorry to hear that. That really sucks. Can you plan something else fun, either with friends/family or just by yourself?
Trust me: special "you" time will be at a premium once your little one arrives!
Grrr.... I would be so upset! Maybe he'll do something super special to make up for it.

I'm over it now. Birthdays / anniversary's are just days; I was just mad b/c that meant he would miss the 4th and final baby class (yes he missed class #2 and #3 also). Plus there's the worry of what if the baby comes early sort of thing; my friend just had her baby 5 weeks early so I sort of told Nick to be in town during June and July. I'm thankful he doesn't have to go to Iraq for years at a time or out to sea for monthes at a time; I realize I'm lucky. I.e. sorry if I sounded like a whiny weenie last night, I was tired. LOL.
