Doesn't Get More Exciting Than This....

Our 4th of July was spent at a family reunion on my grandma's side. Her brother owns a HUGE dairy farm and Blaine was in baby heaven. Tractors, cows, fishies, OH MY! We'll have to get him out there more often (it is only about 14 miles from here). Fun times for sure!

How wonderful that he gets to be exposed to all of that! Lucky Blaine!

By the way, Casey is screaming in the next room. Yes, we're nap training. AGAIN. Stupid fever really knocked us off schedule. :(

Did you let him pet one of the cows - our boys love the feel of animals!

awh poor casey!! :( but even more, poor mommy! i cheat and nurse him to sleep for naps still. i'm going to regret that later. :(

good luck!

we had to retrain for nightwakeups though; he was getting up at MIDNIGHT! and then 2 and then 5 and and and. one night of crying (and not much crying) and he's back to sleeping from bedtime until 4 or 5. phew! last night from 8 pm - 5:30 am. then went back to sleep until 8 am. NEW RECORD!

no i didnt! i'm mean! lol. if i did, i'd want to spray him down with purrell. i'm ok with him touching cats and dogs but other things i'm not so sure about!

Okay now I'm howling! Really?! Not touching the cows? The baby that plays in dirt and rides in a dangerous vehicle? Come on.... go back out to the farm and let 'im pet the cows. It will be great for his immune system. I am glad to hear you let him pet dogs and cats, children who grow up with pets have fewer allergies.

I was going to say, "Baby heaven! No kidding, just plain heaven -

lol ^^ we dont have to "go back out to the farm" for him to touch cows: my family has cows right here and plus i live across the street from a dairy farm. in fact i think there are cows licking my mailbox as i type. i'd rather not worry about him getting cow poop on his hands i guess. ;)

so that dairy farm across from you was one of the first this city girl saw when we moved to ohio. I was HORRIFIED thinking that those cows had their heads stuck through those bars. I thought it was like a pen or such and they couldnt move. I still randomly get teased about that. Come on I was 13 and had probably never seen a farm cow before
