24 Weeks

Well here we are in month 6. I didn't think it'd be smooth sailing forever! I'm officially:

~ 15 lbs heavier
~ waking up in the middle of the night and apparently screaming "I'M DYING" (leg cramp). P.S. Nick says I screamed that but I don't recall those exact words LOL
~ getting a sore lower back
~ failing the glucose test
~ losing my camera link so I can't even show you the week 24 photo
~ wanting to randomly start crying over everything
~ getting annoyed at everything
~ not even excited about an upcoming trip because I know I'll miss my bed way too much

Yep, this is starting to turn out how I had expected pregnancy to be for the whole 9 monthes!

Oh man... I'm sorry you're getting to the less fun portion of things. I'm hoping to hold out as long as possible, but I doubt the 'honeymoon' portion will last much longer. Did you fail the 1 hr glucose or the 3 hr?

I failed the 1 hour one. The good news is 85 % of women who fail that one go on to pass the 3-hour. I'm crossing my fingers and laying off the brownies until that test!! LOL.

Good luck on the 3 hour! And welcome to back pain, my friend. It doesn't get better... at least not by 30 weeks does it get better :)

Back pain? Not better even by thiry weeks? Hey it isn't better by thirty years! Snort snort giggle giggle.

Arencha glad you didn't have to do that list for the whole nine months? Have fun, enjoy the pain, it really does go by quick. And if it weren't for the joy of seein' grandboys I'd miss it worse than I do. Oh and I'll take your brownies if you need to hide them somewhere.

Get yourself a body pillow - I swear they make a difference for sleeping, and for back pain. I snuggle with mine way more than my husband right now - sad, but true...And the body pillow doesn't think you're silly if you're feeling emotional or teary :)

My back pain actually did get a bit better - it comes and goes, depending on what I do during the day. Hopefully yours will fade away!
