The waters were higher today than I've ever seen!! That crazy lake looking thing is normally a small stream. The good news is it receeded and my basement is still dry. :)
Wow! We're in for flooding through tomorrow night! Thankfully we are pretty high up and my husband did a great job making a good drainage ditch behind our house, so we haven't had any water in our basement yet.

Craziness. My mom told me all about how my hometown was hit by the flood waters, too. The pictures are amazing.
