The 7 month mark has been a total turning point for Blaine. He's just less emotionally on edge these days. There has been a 100% NOTICEABLE difference in the kid in the last 2 weeks. I mean he still cries when I try to put him in his carseat (and arches his back, yells, screams, etc) but all in all he is just a total different person. When he gets tired, there are no more total meltdowns. Less meltdowns in general. For some reason, I think his emotional wires were just a bit shorted out for the first 6 months of his life and now he's totally turned a corner.
Have you or did you notice an age when your child "totally transformed" emotionally?

Mine didn't have an age, but we got a whole new baby when the doctor's finally figured out the right way to treat her tummy issues! She used to scream for hours a day and never simile, but ever since she started drinking Neocate, she is a different baby (in the best way possible!)
yikes; well glad they got it figured out! i've been lucky with the eating department (minus solids, that is a whole other post in itself). blaine has always been very smiley and quick to laugh; he just always meltdowned easy, mainly when mad or tired.
Yeah Blaine! That's great news. Noah has been more fussy since 4 months, but only when he's tired. Nighttime sleepbis much better, but naps have been more of a struggle so some days he us overly tired and fussy. Hoping that we fall into a better napping pattern soon and he is a happy, smiley guy all the time :)
Go baby Blaine! We have been pretty fortunate that Vaya has been a content little girl. I have noticed a huge change in her development in the last month (around 8 months), she is waving a clapping and dancing...so adorable.
So glad for you! I don't know that I noticed any big change with Wes (now 10 months) but I remember a big change with Austin around 13-14 months - he got SO MUCH EASIER, almost overnight. He was happy, able to entertain himself for a bit, sleeping without a fight...good stuff.
That's great news! Happy to find another Mama with a babe close in age to my little guy who is 6.5 months :-)
I'm glad to hear he's more content now. You sure have everyone fooled with all the smiley facebook photos!
