Everyone always says people in the Midwest have "no accent" and we are the people hired to do the prompts on automated phones, etc. However, I'd like to point out the fact that Wisconsin and Minnesota are in the Midwest and those people have CRAZY accents!! LOL.
Here's my Ohio non-accent. ;)
P.S. I do "worsh" the clothes but "Wash"ington DC is our nation's capital! :)

Haha, it's funny because I'm from the midwest but curl bug, warsh,pecans are definitely not in my vocab like you.

Awesome idea...I'm definitely stealing it. We'll see if a Wisconsin "accent" is that different from Ohio!!! (I'm from southern Wisconsin, which is a big difference from the northern part of the state.)

haha, I love you did this! I told Kirby how I'd love to do it and he doesn't think it'll be much fun since we don't really have an accent. However, people who aren't from the north think we kinda do. Anyway... it was nice to hear a familiar Ohio accent! :)

I'm from Chicago, living in NW Indiana now, basically the same region...most things are the same, but instead of "pill bug" we call them "Rolly Pollys"...another good ones is how you pronounce "Roof" most people in the US say the "oo" like the "oo" in pool...some of us (the special ones ;) say the "oo" like the "u" in Ruffle. Yeah-even the same region has different accents. I have a small Chicago accent, but my step brother has it realllllly strong. Hilarious!
